Resistance: Fall of Man update: of worldwide servers and lip sync
Some of you Chimera-busting guys playing Insomniac Games‘ Resistance: Fall of Man have already downloaded the latest update required to avail of the map packs. Playing for hours, however, doesn’t guarantee that you can figure out everything that’s changed in the game. Fortunately, we’ve found a changelog which should cover everything new and whatnot.
The most significant addition would have to be the World Servers. That’s right, you no longer have to limit your skirmishes with people just around your region – just set ‘Worldwide Player’ setting on the multiplayer options to ‘Worldwide’ and you’re set.
Annoying players who leave ranked games when things aren’t going good for them will now be restricted from spoiling games so often. A time penalty will incur on leavers who fail to finish ranked games, accumulating up to 15 minutes of being unable to join ranked games depending on how often they commit the crime.
Here’s another sweet cosmetic feature: voice chat will now allow human models to lip sync with the players talking. Having a USB keyboard plugged also gives human players a variety of facial expressions mapped to numeric keys 0-9.
Since the changelog can turn to an overwhelming wall of text, we decided not to include everything on this article. You can find it in its entirety on the Read link below.
