Retuned attunement scrolls now give free flasks

For those folks who happen to remember the the purpose of attunement scrolls, here’s a heads-up! Over at MMO Champion, Boubouille has revealed that the attunement scrolls will apparently be retuned for patch 2.2, allowing people to buy flasks at Shattrath City instead of acquiring attunement for Tempest Keep and Serpentshrine Cavern.

The old attunement scrolls, which were phased out when Blizzard lifted the attunements from Tempest Keep and Serpentshrine Cavern, will instead grants users with five Marks of the Illidari, which are normally used as currency for buying flasks that raiders use in endgame instances.

It’s an interesting way to make up for attunement, though we certainly wish they gave more Marks of the Illidari per scroll. Still, that’s a useful way of recouping some of the investment used to pay for high-end raiding.
