Reuse, reduce, recycle for Earth Day: Trash Panic announced for PSN

Trash Panic - Image 1Here’s a testament to Sony going more casual – but clearly substantial – with its games: they’ve announced Trash Panic for the PlayStation Network, an Earth-friendly puzzle game involving you trying to compact some garbage in an over-sized trash bin of sorts. Yeah, what with Earth Day being tomorrow, why not celebrate it a day early with this announcement huh?

Here’s a testament to Sony going more casual – but clearly substantial – with its games: they’ve announced Trash Panic for the PlayStation Network.

As hinted by the previously seen trademark, this game is the localization of PSN Asia‘s Gomibako, an Earth-friendly puzzle game involving you trying to compact some garbage in an over-sized trash bin of sorts. Yeah, what with Earth Day being tomorrow, why not celebrate it a day early with this announcement huh?

Here’s a sample video taken from the version they have in Asia, as seen in a previous article. As I said previously, what makes this puzzle game cool is its use of physics. Pretty well implemented in gameplay, methinks:
