Ride the waves for free with Surf’s Up demo

Video game Surf’s Up has been available in North America for a couple of weeks now and yet marketing efforts for the title still continue. Microsoft and Ubisoft decided today to give surfing fans a treat by releasing a free demo of Surf’s Up over at Xbox Live Marketplace.

The game is actually based on the animated motion picture from Sony Pictures so having it on Xbox 360 is kind of ironic when you really think about it. Anyway, the game Surf’s Up is pretty much similar to the movie as it takes place in the event “Reggie Belafonte Big Z Memorial Surf Off”.

Here, players can choose from one of the 10 characters that appeared in the film and all you have to do is master the waves to become the champion of the above mentioned event. The demo is only available to Canada, Mexico, and United States.

Seeing that the title will be released in Europe some time in August, we believe that a demo for that market will come soon as well.
