Ridge Racer 7 Webiste Launched

The website for Namco's racer for the PS3, Ridge Racer 7 has been launched. Ridge Racer 7 is part of the legendary Ridge Racer franchise, and has pretty much been a launch title for all of Sony's consoles. For those who cannot read Japanese, here's what the site says about the game:

Players: 2-14 people (Online)

The site also has something which translates into English as "This picture is something which is in the midst of developing". An in-game screenshot of the car maybe? We can only dream. The website also has a concept page, that gives some 'filler' to the game. Here's the Japanese translation:

"You run with 200km/h and the hairpin corner simplicity refreshing drift racing only of the ridge which it comes out furthermore evolves with hi-vision graphics and the sound of force which with the next generation platform "PlayStation 3" are actualized. In addition, it corresponds to also the network service whose SCE is new, can enjoy the excitation only of the ridge racer easily on a worldwide scale, the online play experience of the next generation is offered."

Although the Japanese translation is bad, it still sounds like Ridge Racer 7 will be a great game, and I'm betting on it being a PS3 launch title.
