Right-Handed Sword Control for Link?

linkswordIt seems Nintendo has had some changes on the Wii controls for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. These changes had to do with the sword swinging, bow and arrow controls. In Twilight Princess, you can use the swinging motion to control Link’s sword movements.

Every Zelda fan knows that Link is a lefty, but as you check out the screenshot here, we see Link holding the sword on his right hand. Taken from Japan‘s recent Nintendo conference, this image (which is part of a footage) stirred a bit of controversy among The Legend of Zelda fans.

It seems we got something to watch out for here. We don’t know whether Link will remain right-handed throughout the entire game, or whether we’ll be given an option to swap hands with just a simple left/right option in the menu. As Nintendo’s American conference will launch in a few hours, we can’t wait to get the real score so check out QJ for more updates.
