Rock Band and Old Navy join up for Thanksgiving

MTV Games and Old Navy have agree to join up and give you a different kind of stuffing this Thanksgiving. There’s quite a lot of offers on this one, so if you have hoodies and Rock Band in your plans, be sure to read up.

Old Navy’s Gobblepalooza promo kicks off tomorrow in nearly 700 stores across the US and Canada. Deals and promos will last only for three days, but Rock Band gets to have gaming kiosks in outlets throughout the holiday season. Six of the flagship Old Navy Stores will be installing 10×10 fully-equipped entertainment stages for that extra rockstar kick. Those who come in and join will have a chance to win a US$ 200 Old Navy shopping spree.
On Thanksgiving Thursday, those who purchase Rock Band 2 for Xbox 360, PS3, or Wii will get a free Rock Band guitar peripheral while supplies last. Come Black Friday, “the first consumers to purchase $20 or more of Old Navy merchandise will receive a very special free Rock Band gift with purchase for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, or Wii (a $49.99 value), while supplies last,” says the PR.
To follow it up, Old Navy will start their “Wonderful Wednesdays” promo on December 9th and 16th. Spending US$ 25 worth of Old Navy stuff will net you a track download code.
Naturally, Old Navy will also be having Rock Band shirts on sale, right next to actual Rock Band games and items.
