With November creeping ever closer and armchair warriors of Rock n’ Roll busy practicing their chords, notes and beats, it’s not hard to get caught up in the pre-release frenzy of Electronic Arts‘ upcoming hit, Rock Band for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

After all, not only does it allow you to virtually take any role in a rock band that you want, whether it be the high-flying lead guitarist, the note-shredding vocalist, or the mysterious drummer – but it also lets you and three other friends play all at the SAME TIME. Looking at the packshot, it definitely looks like all the peripherals necessary for a rockin’ good time are all bundled in, which is convenient as you don’t have to hunt down every single one for the full experience.
