Rock Band to get Madden 09 tracks as DLC

We’ve just gotten a report from Reuters that points at Madden ’09 songs making their way into Harmonix‘s Rock Band (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii). Learn more about this crossover and find out what tracks are coming after the jump!

Are you rocking out in Rock Band (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii)? Love thinking about the upcoming Madden ‘09 (Xbox 360, Wii, PSP, DS, PC, PS3)? How would you like some Madden goodies in your Rock Band? Well, that’s exactly what you’ll be getting in Rock Band soon, if a recent article from Reuters is any indication.

The article, which talks about the new offerings of the Madden series of football games, comes with this particular paragraph about getting Madden-related tracks onto Rock Band:

Under the deal, Rock Band will feature music from the Madden 09 soundtrack in its weekly downloadable songs update, a handful at a time, over several weeks, with each song carrying the “Madden” brand.
