Some of you may still remember the old Rocketmen constructible strategy game by WizKids released in 2005. Sadly the game was discontinued after a year of miniature gaming fun. Those of you who miss Rocketmen will be pleasantly surprised with some news regarding its arcade style video game successor.

We recently received word that Capcom‘s Rocketmen: Axis of Evil will finally be available to the general public next week. The game will be downloadable from Xbox Live on Thursday, March 5 and will also be available on the PlayStation Network a day after.

The game itself is a basic arcade shooter, where up to four players can team up to fight against the tyrannical Legion of Terra in a battle of epic proportions. You can also customize your own character for both online and offline play, and enjoy the same well-loved cartoon-like art style taken from the original series.

If you want to relive this great series through some classic arcade shooting action, keep your eyes out for Rocketmen when it comes out next week for the XBL and PSN.
