If you picked up a copy of Grand Theft Auto 4 (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3) and have found that you’ve been experiencing the freezing problems, take heart. Rockstar Games already knows about the problem and the developers are working on a fix as we speak.
Be that as it may, the customer service representative which Kotaku contacted said that they don’t have an ETA on the release of a fix for the problem. In the meantime, you might want to try some of these solutions which have allegedly helped some customers with the problem:
- Set the video settings to 720
- Update the system to the latest firmware
- Turn off the auto save function and the controller vibration setting
Oh well, it looks like we’re going to have to wait a little longer for a fix to come out. We’re going to be keeping a close tab on this so keep checking back here for more updates.
