Beaterator has been given a September 29 and October 2, 2009 release date in North America and Europe, respectively. The game was originally announced as being for the PSP only, but there’s apparently a PSN version coming out on the same day as well. Maybe that’s the main reason for the delay.
Initially created in 2005 as a Flash application on the Rockstar website, Beaterator features thousands of loops and sounds made by both Timbaland and Rockstar as well as robust beatmaking features. It’s touted as being able to let anybody make professional-level music easily.
