Is the nunchuk crossing over to the PlayStation 3 with the motion controller? According to insder rumors, yes it is! Unfortunately, Sony has not verified this yet. Yep, it’s another of those “a friend stories”.
From the NeoGAF forum, user ichinisan shares:
“Heard from Dev friend who has these at his work.
Was initially given the PSWand with big pink blob, looks like sex toy. Last few weeks wireless nunchuck arrived!
Has analog stick and square and circle on it and I think L1 and R1. I’ll have to check the proper details but looks like the nunchuk will happen.
Wireless too, sweet.”
Other details he later on posted also alleged that there will be a mini-usb socket in the bottom of both peripherals.
The dev friend does not directly work for Sony, however, but rather works for a game company who is interested in using the technology for their games.
We’re sure Sony will say something about this. Sooner or later. We’ll keep you posted when they do.
