RUMOR: Best Buy holding out PS3’s for 1/1/07?
This rumorliscious news comes in from Kotaku. They’re suggesting that guys planning to buy PS3’s this weekend might wanna scrap the idea, and wait up until next week. Why the week-long wait?
According to their sources, Best Buy‘s rumored to be stocking up supplies of the console for a New Year’s Eve sell, and might be telling customers they’re out of stock, when in fact they’re just saving up for the designated date.
The good news is that they’re estimated to be carrying about 60 units per store for December 31 – plenty to go around. The bad news is there are no detail on how many of this 60 will the the 60 or 20 GB units. For the vets of PS3 and Wii launches, you know what to do…good luck.
