Rumor: BioShock coming to Mac
Feral Interactive’s booth at the CES, on Friday, sported a curious choice of casual wear for its exhibitors: Big Daddy at the back of their shirts. Now, it’s one thing to have one of the staff wearing a specific game shirt; he could be a fan who unfortunately didn’t pick up his clothes from the laundry and so had to go with what was the only thing left in his closet. But to have the whole lot of them wearing the same shirt? Or maybe… BioShock (Xbox 360, PS3) is coming to the Mac.
Even though BioShock 2 (Xbox 360, PS3)is already in full swing of its development, it doesn’t mean that the original installment have already run its course. Rumors are swirling about, alleging that the BioShock will be ported to grab a bite of that scrumptious Apple money pie.
NOT from Feral Interactive’s CES 2009 booth
How did this rumor come about? Well, Feral Interactive’s booth at the CES, on Friday, sported a curious choice of casual wear for its exhibitors: Big Daddy at the back of their shirts. Now, it’s one thing to have one of the staff wearing a specific game shirt; he could be a fan who unfortunately didn’t pick up his clothes from the laundry and so had to go with what was the only thing left in his closet. But to have the whole lot of them wearing the same shirt?
Fortunately, Macworld writer Chris Holt did approach a couple of said representatives, and they confirmed that yes, BioShock (Xbox 360, PS3) is indeed coming to the Mac, and that they weren’t just all, creepily, members of the same Big Daddy club, and just all wanted to profess their love for BioShock that same day, at the same booth.
So, Mac owners out there. Be prepared. Be very prepared. We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for more folks struttin’ their wears in Big Daddy merchandise, as well as, of course, news and updates from the big guys themselves on this.
