Rumor confirmed: Rock Band getting country tracks
It’s been confirmed: country songs are coming to Rock Band (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PS2). A Harmonix rep confirmed on the game’s official forums that the artists and release date made public on the CMT blog are indeed correct. Details after the jump.
It’s been confirmed: country songs are coming to Rock Band (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PS2).
A Harmonix rep confirmed on the game’s official forums that the artists and release date made public on the CMT blog are indeed correct.
The confirmed artists are Dierks Bentley, Brad Paisley, Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert and the Dixie Chicks. The tracks will go live on December 16. Pricing will be announced at a later date.
So far, Rock Band fans have been a bit divided on the prospect of country songs invading the game. My thoughts? It’s DLC, guys. If you don’t like it, don’t download it.
