Halo Wars Bungie Studios - Image 1Being able to participate in closed alpha or beta tests for upcoming games is a privilege that not many can lay claim to. One of the things that you definitely don’t want to see in Microsoft Xbox Live (or PlayStation Networklike in the case of LittleBigPlanet) is another gamer’s profile revealing that he’s getting dibs on a closed alpha testing for a hot upcoming title. Well, get ready to burn with envy now, since two GamerTags were spotted playing a mysterious title called “Sway.”

Before you go off wondering what “Sway ” is, the status message of one of the lucky, lucky GamerTags pretty much gave it away that it’s a code name of sorts for the Halo Wars Alpha on Xbox Live. Not flaming with the green fires of utter jealousy yet? Just take another glance at the screenshots: it’s Halo Wars Alpha.

Xbox gamers who managed to spot the screenshots were divided into two groups: those who think that the photos are fake, and the other group who confirmed that they spotted other players playing “Sway.” We’d leave it up to you to choose which group you belong to, but if ever the screenshots are legit, we hope that this means a beta will be coming soon.
