Rumor: Joy Ride to be a Project Natal launch title

Another game’s being whispered to be launching alongside Microsoft’s Project Natal. This game is none other than Joy Ride, Microsoft’s new arcade racer title.

Another game’s being whispered to be launching alongside Microsoft’s Project Natal. This game is none other than Joy Ride, Microsoft’s new arcade racer title.

CVG’s retail source claims that while a price point has not yet been determined, what’s sure is that it will be coming out the same time as Natal. Said the source, “The hope for us is that it will be a boxed release – we’re still in the dark on that one – but it’s definitely for Natal and will definitely be here for launch.”

He also claims that Joy Ride will “no longer be free to play, but that it’s been completely reworked into a bigger, richer game than before. They’re putting the final touches to it now. The biggest thing for us is that it just works with Natal’s racing controls. We’re reliably informed it’s very intuitive.”

The last time we heard or saw anything for Joy Ride was at last year’s E3. Hopefully we’ll be seeing something new on it at this year’s event.
