Rumor: June 11 is a big, big day for PlayStation 3 owners

Over at VG Chartz, poster URNotE has given the heads up on an alleged Sony announcement that just might be the booster that PlayStation 3 owners direly need.

According to his post, the May 31 podcast off of Allgames.com has revealed that there is something big coming PlayStation nation’s way, and it’s bound to put a big smile on each and every PS3 owner’s face. Intriguing, eh? We’re not sure what this announcement could be. What we do know is that it’s been said that this is something that fans of the Xbox 360 can only dream of. Hmmm… intriguing, have I mentioned that?

Well of course it is intriguing! And that’s not only because I’ve mentioned the adjective twice within the same paragraph already. It’s intriguing because here’s Sony yet again promising to give something to the gamers that can not be found elsewhere. Could it be a big exclusive title, a new game trailer, a new feature? We don’t know. But with the way the commentaries and the podcast were obviously excited (and can hardly contain themselves, at that!), we’d have to say it’s nothing short of intriguing, indeed.

Anyhow, June 11th is the supposed date to mark. That’s only a few days from now. So, we’ll let you determine for yourself if there’s credibility in this buzz or what.
