Rumor: Katamari going next-gen?
For the guys wanting to hear the latest gossip on the Katamari franchise’s future, this should get the ball rolling. Destructoid just reported that EGM‘s rumor mill contained an announcement in the tune of three new Katamari games – one for the Wii, the PS3, and the 360. This info seems to build up on a previous rumor of just where these game are heading.
While there isn’t any news coming from game creator Keita Takahashi, the rumor does say that Namco will still be publishing the game series, which might be ready by next year. And if we’re imagining the same thing you guys are, a Wiimote/SIXAXIS-controlled Katamari is beginning to sound enticing. Not to mention how kick-ass it’ll probably look like with next-gen Xbox 360 and PS3 graphics.
