Rumor: Loco Roco team wanted it on DS?

We almost don’t want to post this, as this might spark another DS-PSP debate, BUT we’re sorry, it’s just too juicy not to share with you guys.

Over at Kotaku, they posted a supposed statement from a member of the Loco Roco team that was overheard at TGS, saying: “We’d love to have made a DS version. We’re just gamers. But, we work for Sony.”

Well, we can’t really blame that Loco Roco team member for saying that (IF, he/she really did say that), considering how charmingly cute the critters are. But, since it looks like the Loco Roco team is sticking with Sony (based on the alleged statement at the very least), looks like the cute critters won’t be strutting their stuff on Nintendo’s handheld. Too bad.
