Rumor: Marvel vs Capcom 2 on PS3 and Xbox 360 by October?

If you’ll recall, we’ve already heard rumblings that a Marvel vs Capcom 2 remake would be released for the Sony and Microsoft consoles. Now, more fuel has been added to the rumors about a PS3 and Xbox 360 showing for the arcade hit.

If you’ll recall, we’ve already heard rumblings that a Marvel vs Capcom 2 remake would be released for the Sony and Microsoft consoles. Now, more fuel has been added to the rumors about a PS3 and Xbox 360 showing for the arcade hit.

This is due to the “Marvel vs Capcom Tournament Edition Arcade Stick”, an arcade stick spotted on ShopTo.net. Now, while the number “2” isn’t anywhere in the stick’s name, the features list shows that it will be covered in officially licensed Marvel VS Capcom 2 artwork.

The stick’s supposed to come out in October 7 in Europe, so if Marvel vs Capcom 2 really is coming it would probably be out before the stick’s release. You can check out the PS3 version of the stick here and the Xbox 360 version here.
