A Chinese website is calling it: there will be a new iPhone come June of this year, and it’s gonna be model “MB717LL”. Website WeiPhone is claiming that this model will be sporting a whopping 32GB of storage.

What’s in store for you in the alleged brand new
- 600MHz CPU Speed (up from 400MHz)
- 256MB RAM (up from 128MB)
- Digital Compass and FM
- 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus
- 32GB size
- No major changes in battery, screen and external casing.
All these sound really spiff – now if only they are true. See, the poster, according to some, have a reputation of not really getting it spot on with his “inside info”. So to avoid heavy, crushing disappointment, I would advice you to don your skeptic hat for this one. Then again, if this turns out right, then great!
But let us, for a moment, ride with this. What is worrying about the features list is the seeming absence of an upgrade in the battery life. With a new 32GB of storage, you’d think they’d up the battery life as well to keep up with the rest of the model’s improvements.
Then again, maybe this is not the complete list (may not even be real at all), but I guess we’ll find out soon enough. After all, June’s just a couple of weeks away.
