RUMOR: Nintendo Giving Developers Free Wii Dev Kits?
We’ve read and heard quite a lot of rumors about the Nintendo Wii in these past two weeks, so why not one more?
Word is that Nintendo is giving out Wii developmental kits to smaller studios. One developer in a big coastal American city apparently received a mysterious package from Nintendo. Nobody, not even the company’s president, knew what it contained, so you can imagine their surprise when they opened it and found a Wii dev kit inside.
This could be a ploy by Nintendo to get as many companies as possible to work on developing games for the Wii. Then again, since this is totally unconfirmed, it could have been nothing more than a simple mix-up at the post office. IF it’s true. What do you guys think?
