Rumor: Pink DS Lite and Wii Pre-Orders Soon

We don’t usually put much thought into rumors, especially ones that start in forums, but this is NeoGAF and a variety of industry insiders frequent the forums. This rumour seems very likely and we’ll post it for you to either believe or shrug off.

It seems Nintendo is planning to bring over a Pink DS Lite this fall. Although we’d have greatly preferred a Black DS Lite, Nintendo might be hoping that gamers might buy a Pink DS Lite and a Touch Generations game for their loved ones (note: those who love pink) or for their children. This is further supported when you consider the release of the Dalmatian edition of Nintendogs due this fall.

The second part has to do with Wii pre-orders. Supposedly, EB Games and GameStop will begin taking pre-orders in the next week. Since they’ll likely want a price and release date, maybe we’ll hear those two bits of information at the Leipzig Games Convention? This was all information from a GameStop/EB Games conference.
