Rumor: PS3 to get Ace Combat 6?

Rumor has it that the PlayStation 3 will be heading to the skies and into dogfights as well with Namco Bandai‘s Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation. Apparently, there was a citing of it in the PSM3. This is certainly something very interesting for fans of this game. Check out the scan after the jump!

Namco Bandai‘s Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation was originally released for the Xbox Live last year, and we’re now hearing that it might just pop up into Sony‘s PlayStation 3 console as well. There it was, cited in the PSM.

Check out the scan that we were able to get. This particular citing was found under the “2008 year of the PS3” feature of the magazine.

Apparently, the game was listed as part of it. A short description was also provided with it. It went, “Japan‘s favourite dogfighting series returns with a new made-up war, a brace of superweapons, online co-op and a custom controller for the superfans.”

This is most definitely something very peculiar as there’s no official word yet from the company saying that they have plans of releasing it to the PS3. So better just regard this as a rumor for now unless something official comes out from Namco Bandai.
