Rumor: Rock Band an Xbox 360 exclusive?

A rumor that the upcoming next gen rhythm game Rock Band (PS3, Xbox 360) will be an Xbox 360 exclusive has started floating around the Internet due to the Rock Band E3 invitation.

See, the invitation does not include the familiar logo of Sony‘s next gen PlayStation 3 video game console. Instead, the invite shows the logo of only one console – that of the Microsoft Xbox 360.

Of course, this is just a rumor, and the event in question could be a Microsoft-sponsored one, hence the absence of the PS3 logo.

Everything that has come out about Rock Band so far has suggested that the game will indeed be launched on both the PS3 and Xbox 360.
