Rumor: Tekken 6 to get location testing soon?

We’ll be taking a short break from Tekken 6‘s gender-related speculations for a news bit on a possible test release to this much-anticipated fighting game. According to this rumor, a major arcade site obtained the April edition of Japan’s Arcadia magazine.

Detailed in the mag was an interview with Tekken 6′s dev team, who in turn stated that they planned to location test their title “before the weather gets too hot,” which translates into a possible release in May.

Yes, we know – this isn’t much to go on (hence the rumor tag), but given that Namco Bandai is keeping tight-lipped on a  launch date, this will do for now. Rather peculiar though, given that the game director did previously state that the game was only 15 percent complete. As with all rumors, we advise the readers to take this in stride until official word comes out. And on a last, slightly off-related note: Zafina’s fighting style appears to be the Indian martial art of Kalarippayattu (once again, speculation on our part).
