Wipeout HD sure is taking a long time coming. It’s been delayed a couple of times already and a lot of fans are already itching to get a date. Now, rumors are circulating that the game is coming out this month, and for under € 18. How true can these information be?

Rumors are circulating on the release date of SCEE‘s Wipeout HD. If you’ll remember, the game was originally set for a launch back in May, but was pushed back due to certain technical issues. The supposed release date? September 25.

Now, there’s no actual proof to back up this claim, however if you’ll remember, an SCEA producer did mention last week something about giving out a date in the coming weeks. If there is indeed any glimmer of truth to the rumor, then we should expect that announcement any time soon now.

But it’s not only date-speculations that are crawling about. There’s also some buzz going around various Internet forums about the game being tagged for Europe with a € 17.99 (about US$ 25) SRP.
