RUMOR: Xbox 360 120 HDD coming soon
More possible evidence has surfaced regarding the Xbox 360’s rumored 120 GB hard drive, as one photo has shown. Ralph, a reader over at the Xbox 360 Fanboy, says that a friend of his saw this promotional poster over at a GameStop retail store. Ralph’s friend took a photo of the ad, and sent it to Ralph’s Blackberry PDA.
On one hand, this could be confirmation that Microsoft is indeed readying for a release of the much-talked about 120 GB Hard Drive for its Xbox 360 console. On the other, this may be part of a larger advertising plan for the new Xbox 360 model retailers are rumored to readying up this May 1. The new unit is expected to carry HDMI support, as well as a massive 120GB memory capacity – the same capacity being featured in this mystery ad.
Given these two speculations, we can be certain of one thing – the advert spelled “hard drive” wrong. We’d like to hear your words regarding the validity of this rumor, and if you guys have also spotted this ad at your local GameStop outlet.
