Run UMD 0.01.01a1 Experimental – 2.00+ UMD Launcher
Saturn Expedition Committee has updated the Run UMD to version 0.01.01a1. Run UMD is a tool for launching 2.00+ UMD games (NOT ISOs) on 1.50 PSPs. This update should only be a minor one according to the small change of the version number. Currently, some unknown issues are interfering with the wireless function, turning off the WLAN switch is suggested.
Note: If you are the user of an older version, you may need to press circle button again when using the new version. This will update the extracted files, but we are not sure if this would help. Just a hint.
How to Use
- Open the ZIP file. Drag and drop the “PSP” folder into the root folder of your PSP.
- Start the program on your PSP via “Games” -> “Memory Stick”.
- Put in the game you want to play. When prompted, press circle if you are trying to play it for the first time, otherwise, press X to launch the game.
- Wait until the message “Press X:” to be displayed, then press X to launch the game. Note: only a limited set of games are supported now. If you found your PSP froze in a black screen (you can lean your ear to the PSP to listen if the disc drive is busy working or not), just unplug the power adapter and take out the battery, then put it back and switch the PSP on.
Updated compatibility list:
- KARAKURI (Tokobot) Demo version – Playable, sleep & resume OK. Bonus movie playable, bonus wallpaper cannot be saved due to memory stick missing error.
- Sakura Wars 1&2 – Can’t start
- Tokimeki Memorial – Can’t start
