Even though Runaway 2: The Dream of the Turtle has been delayed several times (hopefully its latest release date on November 17 will push through) it’s hard to get mad at Pendulo Studios for keeping us waiting. After all, the developers of this highly anticipated title say they needed more time to polish the game to perfection. Who could blame them? Runaway 2: The Dream of the Turtle has to live up to its predecessor, Runaway, which wasn’t only a big hit but was named as Europe’s Game of the Year in 2003.
Runaway 2: The Dream of the Turtle will feature the same brand of wacky humour woven into mind-numbing puzzles that made Runaway a runaway hit. But Pendulo Studios swear the sequel will not only be a true comedy with lots of jokes but will have even more challenging gameplay. We can’t say for sure if Runaway 2: The Dream of the Turtle will live up to the hype. But we’ve seen the trailer and the game is a luscious, thick, rich Belgian chocolate of an eye-candy. If this is any indication of how sweet Runaway 2: The Dream of the Turtle will be then it’s worth the wait!
