Runescape hunter skill opens up today
Developer Jagex Limited promised to release the new Hunter skill for its MMO Runescape before November ends. Well, it’s almost the end of the month and what do you know? Jagex just fulfilled their promise! A good number of players previously expressed their desire to try out the skill that allows them to track, net and trap various creatures.
Accordingly, those who really want to pursue the skill should begin either in Yanille or Nardah. In both locations, new hunter shops just opened that sell necessary equipments. Players should also look out for inventor Leon to try and purchase one of his bone inventions.
Once you’ve acquired necessary equipments (bird snares, teasing sticks, magical imp boxes, etc.), proceed to one of the three new areas that comes with the Hunter skill. Gu’Tanoth is actually a good place to start as the Feldip Hills and Jungles are home to many ogres, chinchompas, spined larupia and other creatures. The Piscastoris Fishing Colony opens up Matthia’s falconry area while Rellekka is teeming with gnomes and sabre-tooth kyatt and cohorts.
Wow! That’s quite an interesting list for things to do. Take note that while it is a non-combat skill, being a hunter proves to be rewarding. The creatures you have gathered and collected can actually be used by your friends in battles or you can sell them yourselves. So what are you waiting for? Go visit Runescape today and try the new hunter skill.
