For this round, we’ve got the formal announcement of LittleBigPlanet for the PSP, new search options that’ll help you find levels and authors easier, upcoming DLC which includes a Helghast Sackboy.
First up, they’ve finally announced that Media Molecule is getting busy and is now working on a PSP version for LittleBigPlanet. Don’t worry though, Sony‘s development studio in Cambridge will be taking care of the support for the PS3 LBP so MM will be able to concentrate on the Portable Sackboy.
Good news, new search options have been added into the game, making it easier for everyone to look for levels and authors. Here are a few examples below on what to type, so you’ll be able to use the feature easier and find what you’re looking for.
- @ searches for a specific author (e.g. @QJSackboy)
- $ searches for words in a level’s title (e.g. $PSP yields level names with “PSP” in it(
- ‘ ‘ (single quotes) will search for the input word on level titles and descriptions
- ” ” (double quotes) just like in search engines, searches for exact phrases
- You can combine these techniques for a more comprehensive search.
And of course, new costumes. Sackboy’s wardrobe gets a bigger again. Sackboy’s new threads this time are from familiar titles, including Killzone 2. Here’s a little look-see.
