Sackboy campaigns for Proposition Pluto: reinstate in our Solar System
Media Molecule‘s got a political ward here, so it seems. The now-famous SackBoy speaks out, saying that there are other bigger issues going on apart from the elections and he wants you to get involved. He’s launched a new campaign, the Proposition Pluto, and you guessed it right! He wants you to help him convince the spaceboys to reinstate Pluto as a certified planet in our Solar System. Yes, he does not only provide entertainment, he’s also got an advocacy. Details for SackBoy’s Proposition Pluto after the jump.
SackBoy’s waging a different campaign, and he wants you to help! Remember when Pluto, the “littlest big planet”, was demoted from being a full-fledged planet to just being a dwarf planet some two years ago? Well, SackBoy apparently doesn’t agree with that move.
Say SackBoy, it’s a “travesty and we must stand together to bring Pluto back to the solar system as the LittleBigPlanet.” Now, he’s also made a campaign advertisement (which we’ve embedded below so you can see it yourself), and has put up a campaign page where you can sign up to be updated on the campaign (yes, he’s serious about this advocacy).
And like Obama, SackBoy has also branched his campaign out to multimedia by having his own social networking accounts via Twitter and FaceBook. If you join their group, you’ll get bumper stickers and buttons to share with your friends.
We don’t really know why SackBoy would want to reinstate Pluto as a legitimate planet even after all those international space-science guys have concluded that it’s just a dwarf planet, but whatever. He’s making a stand, and you’ve got the opportunity to support him if you may be so inclined to. Besides, who can refuse such an adorable Sackperson?
