Sackboy toy shortages explained by Sony
Sackboy’s running a little late, folks. Sony has explained that they’re encountering some production troubles that’s why the toy won’t be shipping in along with the pre-ordered copies of LittleBigPlanet. But all’s cool, so don’t worry. See what’s up after the jump.
Unfortunately, the much awaited Sackboys won’t be arriving on time. It appears that there’s a little production problem that Sony‘s encountering now, and so the toys won’t be available for the shipping of the pre-ordered LittleBigPlanet copies.
Not to worry though. It’s not true that the problems are abut copyright issues. In fact, the delay isn’t even that much as the toys are expected to arrive either at or just after the game’s October 24th launch.
So in the meantime, retailers will be offering t-shirts to those who pre-ordered the game. We know, it’s in no way the same as getting the Sackboy, but just be patient, they’ll be on their way soon enough.
