Sadness site updated, Nibris gives game a release date
It’s starting to look like Nibris has some kind of system wherein they only release info about Sadness once every three months. The last update we got was in April, so it’s high time for another one, if we’re to follow the three months schedule. Anyway, the developer has finally updated the game’s official website with more game info and GASP! Is that a release date? Find out in the full article.
I admit, I’m really looking forward to Sadness. For the longest time, though, I had resigned this game to the vaporware bin because of the extremely sporadic updates. It looks like it’s time to file this under “Coming Soon” again, though, as Nibris has finally given the game’s official website a considerably hefty update.
Perhaps the biggest part of the update is the target release date: Fall 2009. Before then, we can hopefully grab a glimpse of the game at Leipzig, since Nibris will be attending the Games Convention there next month. A new trailer is also in the works, tentatively slated for a vague “this vacation” (September, maybe?) release.
The Sadness website also has a short overview and three new screenshots that you may want to check out, although they are a bit on the teeny-tiny side. The screens look really reminiscent of the Fatal Frame series, though, which is also coming out on the Wii. You can access the website via the source link below.
