Sadness to be Black and White
Something that is not often seen in video games, black and white. That’s right, the upcoming Revolution game, Sadness, by NIBRIS will be black and white. This will give it a very unique flavour as, although seen every now and then in film, it’s very uncommon in games. The chief developer, Piotr Orlowski says that Nibris is following Nintendo’s path of fighting the current stagnant game market. Lukasz “CassSept” Oskard, an employee of Nibris, says that Sadness isn’t following Sin City in the style, it’s because the game is set pre-World War.
Let’s hope the success that NIBRIS has been receiving so far serves to inspire other small developers to follow in their footsteps. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this much support and coverage of an unknown game team. More information on Sadness is said to be coming soon.
