Sailor says… Sailor Moon brushing up for the Wii?

Um. Right. *waves white flag in surrender* Now we’ve seen everything. Apparently, there’s already a Sailor Moon game in the works for the Wii. Details are sketchy – bordering on non-existent – but for those who are interested (or at least clandestinely interested), read on.

Powet.TV reports of a certain “Sailor Moon (Working Title) (Japanese Version)” for the Wii as spotted in Asian import store YesAsia. We checked the site out ourselves and saw that it’s notched with a December 31 release this year, and it will be (or is currently being?) developed by Namco.

The TV show has long been dead for around a decade now, but it was a sure hit in Japan. So, a Wii game for the franchise makes sense, but as for a release in North America… Well, we’ll just have to notch this up with the big red [RUMOR] stamp for now.
