It was previously reported that the Saints Row demo will be up and available for download at the Xbox Live Marketplace come August 1st. And true enough THQ Inc. has made the announcement that demo is already yours to have. The 900MB, single-player demo gives us a peek on what to expect from this very controversial game, scheduled for release on August 29, 2006.

The Saints Row demo highlights the game’s intense single-player campaign, through the use of cutting-edge technology and stunning graphics. It also reveals the in-depth character customization, that will bring a piece of who you are into the game. plus the over-the-top gameplay and the neverending twists and turns of teh storyline, make Saints Row a game you shouldn’t miss. Because of the explicit violence of the game, it has received a rating of M for mature.
