Sakaguchi confirms new MMORPG for the Xbox 360?
Gaming site TotalVideoGames.com has earlier reported that revered game maker and Square Enix chief Hironobu Sakaguchi has confirmed a new game for the Microsoft Xbox 360 described as “50 percent MMO and 50 percent RPG.”
TVG reports that the confirmation came when Sakaguchi was in a Paris anime and manga shindig. Other than that, the only details are that it’s not a sequel to Blue Dragon nor is it Cry On.
Sakaguchi is recognized as the genius behind the mighty Final Fantasy franchise and was inducted into the gaming world’s Hall of Fame back in 2000. He’s also a filmmaker outside of his gaming career.
We’ve been digging for additional details but news on the subject has been hard to find thus far. We’ll keep you updated on this exciting matter.
