Sam and Max bask in the spotlight in Episode 2 – Situation: Comedy
GameTap TV and Telltale revealed details of the follow up to the video game series Sam and Max Episode 1: Culture Shock called Episode 2 – Situation: Comedy. Yup, the very same Sam and Max that should be on the Wii.
Episode 2 – Situation: Comedy picks up where Episode 1: Culture Shock left off. Sam and Max head for WARP TV studio to investigate a talk-show taping that turned into a hostage situation. Myra Stump, the talk show host has gone bananas! Sam and Max try to find out why she’s holding her audience hostage. But getting onto Myra’s stage isnÂ’t going to be easy, natch. First the Freelance Police will have to prove they have what it takes to to achieve fifteen minutes of fame.
While in the eye the spotlight, Sam and Max tackle every issues they’ve happened upon from reality TV to Aristotle, and from day-trip destinations to turkey franks. Everything and anything is fair game for the dynamic crime fighting dicks.
The episode features new locations, a new musical score, and new and familiar characters and lots of bizarre scenarios for players to figure through. Of course Sam and Max won’t be Sam and Max without the duos trademark humor. Episode 2 – Situation: Comedy was created using machinima, an innovative film-making technique utilizing real-time 3D virtual environment of a video game. Episode 2 – Situation: Comedy will be out on December 21 on GameTap TV.
