SavedataTool Released by Shine

Savedatatool

xcadaverx let us know about Shine?s release of his new SavedataTool. Shine writes about it:

?SavedataTool is a program with full source code for the PSP, which can read savedata and write it as extracted files to the memory stick and which can update savedata with the extracted files. It may have many bugs, because it’s difficult to get all the meanings of the savedata struct fields with a disassembler and looping the update function looks a bit strange, but it works.?

Usage:
Create a file savename.txt in the root directory of your memory stick with 3 lines:
– first part of game directory name (looks like this is always 9 chars)
– seconds part of game directory name (the rest)
– name of the data file
An example for Wipeout Pure is included
After starting you can load the savegame data, which is stored
to the root directory as “params.bin” and “data.bin”.
After editing these files, you can update your savegame again with it.

Please use at your own risk.

You can get it in our PSP Download section here.
