Scans confirm characters for Tales of VS
Four were announced last month, and we’ve got more coming in – the Tales Union managed to snag a few scans off a Japanese gaming mag, and they confirm – more heroes have just been confirmed for Tales of VS. Did your favorite Tales character get confirmed this time? Find out after the jump.
Four were announced last month, and we’ve got more coming in – the Tales Union managed to snag a few scans off a Japanese gaming mag, and they confirm – more heroes have just been confirmed for Tales of VS. Did your favorite Tales character get confirmed this time?
Okay, so here’s the thing. There are a lot of groups and forums keeping track of the confirmed characters for Tales of VS, based on trailers and images that Namco Bandai has released. Out of the 35 characters that are in the game, the Tales Union currently has the list at 18, with the addition of – not six – but seven characters:
- Jade Curtiss (Tales of the Abyss)
- Nanaly Fletch (Tales of Destiny 2)
- Arche Klaine (Tales of Phantasia)
- Lloyd Irving (Tales of Symphonia)
- Collete Brunel (Tales of Symphonia)
- Philia Felice (Tales of Destiny)
- Mao (Tales of Rebirth)
Checking the Gamefaqs forums, however, members have the list at 20. While the credibility of the GameFAQ forum post may be questionable, it did have Lloyd, Collete, and Philia on that list, which the Tales Union confirms only now. Therefore, keeping in mind that there are already-confirmed characters on those scans, the newly-confirmed characters would be Jade, Nanaly, Arche, and Mao.
Of course, I could be wrong. But since the tallies have been based on video and scan sightings, it’s all a matter of where you get your stuff and when. Anyone out there with a better list?
