SCE wants to play next-gen baseball
Again, Sony Computer Entertainment has pulled out a few surprises during the recently finished PS3 event. One of which is the announcement of the next-gen version of its promising baseball game, Major League Baseball ’07l. SCE did not furnish a single detail, but it seems that the company already has high expectations for the game.
If you can remember, the MLB franchise is formerly part of the 989 Sports series. With a few decent releases on current generation console and two strong PSP games, it would be safe to say that the baseball game has slowly climbed to the ranks of other established sports titles.
What do you guys expect for MLB ’07? It is logical to assume that Sony would aim for 1080p since they’ve been boasting of PS3’s graphical prowess. They would also probably include multiplayer online play. Let’s all just wait as things develop and hope Sony do a decent, if not an excellent baseball job.
