SCEA opens official PlayStation Blog
Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) just opened a new section over at its official PlayStation site. It’s actually a whole blog and Sony maintains that as soon as it gets the hang of blogging, it’s going to be a place where it can share with fans the company’s collective insights, opinions, and perspectives.
The blog itself has different sections like the PlayStation Network (PSN), Developer Corner, Hardware, and Title Spotlight where new and upcoming video games are highlighted. Public Relation Senior Manager Patrick Seybold has one of the earliest entries. He says:
At the moment, we’re thinking about sharing all sorts of things here, ranging from product news and title announcements to developer updates and industry opinion posts – all of which will come straight from the people here inside SCEA who are working, thinking and playing with this stuff everyday.
The PlayStation Blog has its comments options turned on so you can directly tell the officials what you think about them and their products. Seybold added that comments are in fact encouraged so that they will know what the fans really want from them.
The Read link below will take you to the official PlayStation blog. After paying them a visit, come back here and tell us what you think about this move from Sony.
