SCEA’s Anton Mikhailov has said that PlayStation Move is so precise, you can use it to play StarCraft on your PC. With a little bit of hackery of course.
“Actually I hooked up this device through some hackery to a PC to play a bunch of games,” Mikhailov recently told Digital Foundry. “I actually played StarCraft… I could actually play, not just screw around but play. It’s a testament to how robust this interface is for even the more hardcore game.”
Mikhailov also said that the precision controls exhibited by Move will bring more genres “typically detached” from console gaming like RTS titles.
“All those genres require precise pointer control. This is something we have now on the PS3.”
