SCEA: prices of PSone games for PSP
Sony Computer Entertainment America has just announced the price range for PSone titles to be sold for the PSP. You guys will be glad to know that the first batch of PSone games will sell for around US$ 5.99 to US$ 10.99. Great deal, huh? Donning around 140MB to 550MB worth of data, these games must be downloaded to the PS3’s hard drive before you can transfer them to Memory Stick Duo.
SCEA also said that the first batch of titles will soon be available via the PlayStation Store “in the coming weeks”, with first and third party games to be added soon after. As for titles, Sony still has yet to confirm which ones will hit the PS Store first. GamesIndustry reports that there’ll be ten titles in the first batch, but as we reported earlier, there were only nine titles included in the first batch to hit Sony Japan’s online store. We’re guessing those will be the same titles that’ll make their way to U.S. but with the addition of one more.
Sony has recently released FW 3.0 system update in Japan and North America, which – aside from PSOne emulator – includes PlayStation Network support and the Remote Play feature, which users will eventually be able to access using Wi-Fi hotspots.
