SCEA reveals 2009 PS3 line-up: GoW3, Heavy Rain, Uncharted 2, more
In a press release, SCEA has revealed their projected 2009 line-up of exclusive titles for the PS3. Of course, among them is Killzone 2, already set to come out next week. In a press release, SCEA has revealed their projected 2009 line-up of exclusive titles for the PS3. Of course, among them is Killzone 2, already set to come out next week. But what about the other exclusives coming out this year?
The press release didn’t seem to indicate whether the following list is in chronological order of release, but whatever the case, these games are planned to roll out this year:
- Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
- inFamous
- MAG
- Heavy Rain
- God of War III
- MLB 09 The Show
Yes, God of War III. I know. I was thinking March ’10, but seeing as they plan to release it within this year… Hmm. Everything else seems to be in line. Those exclusive titles are some of the games I myself am looking forward to. If they pull off their schedules and manage to release these babies out this year without any delay, then man, that’s a pretty tough line-up to beat.
I wonder though… you guys think this could stack up against Ninty’s Wii line-up? What about Microsoft‘s full line-up of unannounced exclusives? Hmm.
Anyways, part of the press release mentions that Sony‘s going to start promoting Killzone 2 with a new campaign, prior to its release. There’s going to be a new TV ad (as seen here), one called “Bullet”, and it’s supposed to be rendered in real-time using the PS3 engine. Later on, they’ll be releasing a “playable” version where you can go in and change camera angles and whatnot.
