SCEA (that’s Australia) unveils plans for Aussie PS3 launch

PS3 - Image 1It seems that Aussies won’t have to freeze in the cold, suffer in line with poor unemployed mules for PS3 hoarders, and won’t have to worry about muggings and shootings from criminals looking to make a profit online. Sony Computer Entertainment Australia, is making sure that Aussie gamers camped at Sydney’s Pitt St Mall will be entertained and safe.

During the midnight launch event that will be hosted by Myer, gamers will enjoy a free public screening of “Casino Royale” courtesy of a PlayStation 3. Gamers will also be treated with PS themed giveaways, free massages, and a chance to play the PlayStation 3 on the big screen. The first 100 to purchase a PS3 will also receive a Blu-ray copy of “Talladega nights.”

That’s a lot of good stuff to go with that AU$ 999.95 price-tag. Will people line-up though? We’ll wait and and we’ll see.
